Two Ingredient Ice Cream 재료 두가지로 기계 없이 만드는 아이스 크림 アイスクリーム

My quick and easy two ingredient ice cream is perfect for sharing, kids birthday parties, bbq’s, movie nights or as an extra special dessert to finish off a romantic meal for a stay at home date night. Not that I need an excuse. I usually just get myself a spoon and dig in! Be careful though. It’s very hard to stop when you get started.

I bet you were dubious when you read that title. Only two ingredients???  No machine??? Banish those thoughts of gritty semi frozen disappointment. My ice cream is sooooooo smooth and creamy you’d swear it was shop bought. The secret is the sweet condensed milk. No need to stir during the freezing process. All you do is whip the cream and the condensed milk together and you have the perfect two ingredient base for any flavour of ice cream you can imagine.


I have been tweaking this recipe for a little while now and I have made a lot of different flavour combinations.  I have tried to decide on the best one for my blog but I just couldn’t do it.  So instead I will share not one, not two, but three different flavours to get you started. What You'll Need
  • Ice Cream Base
  • 800ml Double/Whipping Cream
  • 600ml Condensed Milk
  • 1tsp Vanilla Extract (optional)

  • Salted Caramel Pecan Ice Cream
  • 3 Cups Ice Cream Base
  • ½ Cup Pecans, crushed
  • ⅔ Cup Salted Caramel Sauce

  • Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream
  • 2 Cups Ice Cream Base
  • ½ Cup Strawberry Sauce/Jam
  • 230g New York Cheesecake

  • Nutella Chocolate Cake Ice Cream
  • 3 Cups Ice Cream Base
  • 3tbsp Nutella
  • 1 Cup Chocolate Pound Cake, crumbled
How to Make It
  1. To make the ice cream base:
  2. Pour the double/whipping cream into a mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk the cream until you can make stiff peaks.
  4. Add the condensed milk.
  5. Whisk until well mixed.
  6. To make the ice cream:
  7. Scoop the ice cream base into a mixing bowl.
  8. Add your flavours to the ice cream base.
  9. Using a spatula or large spoon, gently fold the ingredients together until you have reached your desired mix.
  10. Pour the mixture into a suitable container. Cover and freeze for a minimum of fours hours but preferably overnight.
