VALENCIA PART 1: SPANISH HOT CHOCOLATE (CHOCOLATE A LA ESPAÑOLA)

Perfect on it’s own, even better served with churros, ensaïmada, croissants or your favourite cookies and biscuits. Dip and enjoy!
What You'll Need
  • 550ml Whole Milk
  • 4 tsp Corn Flour
  • 6 tbsp Sugar
  • 200g Baking Dark Chocolate (at least 54% Cacao), chopped
How to Make It
  1. Pour the milk into a pan and add the cornflour. Whisk thoroughly until there are no lumps.
  2. Turn on the stove to a medium heat and add the sugar. Stir until dissolved.
  3. Bring to the boil, turn the heat down to very low and add the chocolate. Stir until completely melted. It will thicken as you stir.
  4. Turn the heat off, pour the hot chocolate into your favourite mug and enjoy with churros, pastries, biscuits or on its own!
Notes
You can use milk chocolate or milk and dark chocolate half and half. Just use your favourite.
